ID06 was launched by Byggföretagen in 2006. It is a system that simplifies the validation of a persons identity and connecting every employer to an employee. ID06 has several areas of use such as attendance registration in electronic personnel ledgers, digitization of education certificates and access and lock-functions.
Since January 1st 2016 it has been mandatory to use an electronic personnel ledger at most construction sites in Sweden. All companies and personnel participating in the construction activities must be registered in the electronic personnel ledger. The ID06 system meets those requirements of the law and offers industry-adapted equipment as for example the ID06-card.
The ID06-card is used to access the workplace and account for attendance. The ID06-card is equipped a high security level, LOA 2 (Level of assurance 2). This means that every user and card holder has validated their identity with either an eID or by scanned passport/national ID.
All companies and employees that wishes to use the ID06 system or obtain an ID06 card therefor has to go through the validation process before being able to complete a personal account registration.
In order to obtain an ID06-card we also require documents that proves the card holders working permissions in Sweden. These documents are mandatory when ordering an ID06-card. We make sure that all user companies meets basic legal requirements for business activities in Sweden. When registering a company, ID06 verifies that it is the company signatory that signs the agreement between the user company and ID06.
How to register a foreign company
- Company application
Fill in the company registration application and wait for confirmation from us to continue to step 2.
- Create user account
Fill in your personal information and confirm with an eID or book an appointment to scan your passport/national ID documents.
You need to verify your identity in order to obtain a personal account.
- Company registration
Apply company basic information and sign the ID06 agreements.
Only one with signatory right in the company is allowed to complete the company registration.
Prices and fees
Annual fee for the ID06-card
We will charge a fee of 80SEK per ID06-card/year.
If you choose to terminate an ID06-card during a commenced period you will still be charged 80SEK(for the whole year).
Annual fee for companies
For the company being registered, we will charge a fee based on the amount of ID06-cards a company uses.
ID06 charges an administrative fee of SEK 1,200 if a company has been blocked due to an unpaid invoice and is reopened.
How to order an ID06-card
- Choose your card supplier
The company chooses a card supplier.
- Place your order
Fill in requested personal information about the cardholder and attach all required documents.
- Activate the ID06-card
The cardholder will receive an email to confirm the order and to create a personal account. The cardholder has validate their person by using an eID or by scanning passport/national ID in order to confirm and activate the card.

Validation of your identity
When you register a new personal account with us, you must validate your identity. Usually this is done digitally using an eID, you can find the list of approved eID´s in the chart to the right. You can also validate yourself by scanning your passport or your national ID document at one of our selected scanning stations – regardless of which card supplier your company has chosen for card delivery.
Here you can see a list of passports and ID documents that are approved for scanning.
Then select a scanning station on the map and book an appointment with them for scanning.

ID06 are working to ensure that as many companies as possible are able to order and obtain ID06-card. Every country has a different way of registering companies, with different types of registration numbers, created by a number of authorities. This affects the ability to register a company to the ID06-system in different ways, depending on what country the company is originally created.

ID06 Stamp is now available and ready for you to activate.
In order to make it simpler for the user companies to comply with the retention requirements for electronic personnel registers that contained in the Swedish Tax Procedure Regulation (2011:1261), and in order to comply with applicable law, ID06 provides the user company with the ID06 Stamp service. ID06 Stamp compiles all of the user company’s electronic personnel registers created on a worksite in an ID06 Service. This gives the user company the opportunity to obtain one overview (ID06 Stamp) of all of the user company’s personnel registers created within the ID06 System.
In ID06 Stamp you will be able to get an overview over your electronic staff registers that have been created when your employees have logged in and out of an ID06 workplace. ID06 Stamp collects your worksite information from all accredited ID06 Partners to give you a good overview of your company´s electronic staff registers.
The purpose of ID06 Stamp is:
- To provide a storage service, based on the retention requirements of the Tax Procedure Regulation (2011:1261), and to obtain a copy of your company’s electronic staff register, from ID06 Partners;
- To assist your company with information requested by an authority in the event of a follow-up check after a workplace visit;
- To assist in conducting analyses of ID06 Stamp in order to help you detect inaccuracies, such as double registrations, incorrect logins and logouts, etc.
After you enable ID06 Stamp, you can see your employees’ logins and logouts, overall statistics, and can even print a subject access request for your employees.
How to activate ID06 Stamp
Login to http://portal.id06.se then go to the user management.
Invite a new user and assign the user permission ”My ID06 Stamp company administrator” or add the permission to already existing users.
Company Administrator for the “My ID06 Stamp company administrator” role can be assigned to both Administrators and users.
Return to home and you will now see ID06 Stamp. Click “Go to service” to enter.
Read the information and press Activate.
You are now ready to start using ID06 Stamp.
